Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/2 cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/4 cup cornstarch
– Optional: Sprinkles or colored sugar for decoration

4. Sift together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Gradually add this dry mixture to the creamed butter and sugar, mixing until a soft dough forms.

5. Use a cookie press or scoop to shape the dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. If desired, gently press sprinkles or colored sugar onto the cookies for decoration.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are lightly golden.

7. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
